The Prickly Pear Bed and Breakfast will be closed from April through August, 2010. We will not be taking any reservations over that time period. Please check back with us at the beginning of September. Thank you!
The Prickly Pear Bed and Breakfast provides eco-friendly & charming accommodations in the heart of Socorro, New Mexico's historic Old Town & Plaza District. Currently owned by innkeepers Jennifer Polle and Steve Harrington, the bed and breakfast was originally the home and workshop of well known Socorro craftsman and cabinet maker, E.M. Balatti, built by hand in the earlier part of the 20th century. It's been fully converted into a spacious and sunny home with private guest accommodations.
Patrons can relax in the colorful and eclectically decorated suite while sipping fair-trade coffee and enjoying a delicious breakfast emphasizing locally grown and organic ingredients. The Prickly Pear is a very short walk from some of Socorro's finest dining and entertainment and within minutes of the New Mexico Tech Campus.
