The Prickly Pear Bed and Breakfast will be closed from April through August, 2010.  We will not be taking any reservations over that time period.  Please check back with us at the beginning of September.  Thank you!

Reservations may be made on our website, by clicking the buttons above.  Green signals that the suite is available.  We also accept reservations over the phone with a credit card number at 575-838-2286.  With both of these methods, your credit card will be charged, with applicable taxes added, once you arrive.  Please note that we have a two night minimum.

During the Festival of the Cranes and holidays, cancellations must be made at least one week before reservation date in order to receive a full refund - at any time thereafter, you will be charged 50% of the full cost.  During other periods, cancellations must be made 48 hours before reservation date.  If we are able to re-book your room, this charge may be waived.

We love animals, but maintain the guest quarters as a pet-free zone, to accommodate those with allergies.  We have two cats of our own, which stay strictly in the separate innkeeper quarters.

We love kids, too, and they are more than welcome to stay at The Prickly Pear. 

Check in time is 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and check out time is 11:00 a.m.

The Prickly Pear is a smoke-free zone, indoors and out.
